Work by Daria Koreneva

Russian born, (1991) Belgium based Daria Koreneva recasts images in terms of continued possibility. In her work, she uses the photographic image to build visual rhythmic structures. With such process-led practice, she implies a veiling of meaning and expression of withhold, charging each image with an enigmatic vitality. Daria examines a state of presence and remembrance, exploring the tension between the hidden and the revealed.

Since 2019 Daria Koreneva holds an MA in visual arts from the Luca School of Arts. She currently lives and works in Brussels.
